REVIEW

Greaves has again shown his extensive knowledge of spiritual matters and perceptive intuition connecting legends and fact from different cultures and eras. The way he pieces everything together, it suddenly all "makes sense", and you start to see bits of the "bigger picture".

REVIEW

A beautifully written book reminiscent of the style of Khalil Gibran's Jesus the Son of Man. A poetic flowing written style weaving together spiritual and past Christian concepts. Enlightening and worth the read.

REVIEW

This book is another great contribution from Christopher Greaves, who wrote Sahaja, an introduction to Sahaja Yoga. Sophia is an imagined account of the life of Jesus Christ as witnessed by the disciple John. I was very interested to learn more about Paul, the apostle who claimed to have heard a voice and had a vision and had the conversion experience on the road to Damascus. Christopher Greaves has dealt with this subject superbly and we should be extremely grateful that this book is around to clarify this difficult area. The place of Sophia as the Holy Mother, Mother Mary, is descibed well. We feel the persecution of the early Christians and admire John for his courage in wanting to join the other disciples in their mission to spread the news of the teachings of Jesus. The text is straightforward and the book was a joy. I thoroughly recommend it.
