REVIEW: Fantastic piece
The book has a very captivating storyline, which is genuinely engaging like an epic story. It also gives a profound message of innate ethics which is missing from many stories. I bought the book as a gift for my niece. She was hooked and commented how many things she learned and got inspired by the main heroine. We need more like this!

REVIEW: Beautiful, inspiring and heartwarming!
When I got the book I just wanted to peek in and read it later. That did not work out because once I started reading it I could not lay the book down again. It is beautiful, heartwarming and is touching something deep within. The drawings are capturing and beautiful and in itself something you can just look at for a long time and enjoy each and every single picture. It is truly amazing to find an artist who can create with a single simple drawing so many emotions! This is rarely found in this genre and the sign of a real genius! This is a timeless, beautiful and inspiring story about compassion, the struggles we all have to face in life in one form or the other, about courage and the power of kindness. Kids, teens and adults will love it!

REVIEW: Original, beautiful art and story
Bigger than I expected, the story was original and beautifully drawn. Great debut for David, whom I've been a fan since his early work in his homeland of Brazil.
